90 minutes away from the Hotel, this amazing tour will bring you a close contact with nature while discovering one of Costa Rica's hidden mysteries. Take the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the tropical rainforest, its lush vegetation and wildlife.

The Rio Celeste River is located within the Tenorio Volcano National Park, between the counties of Guatuso and Upala of the Province of Alajuela. Among its principal attractions are its thermal waters, fumaroles and streams that traverse the forest and lead to Los Teñideros. This and more await you along our 7 kilometer hike (4 hours), through the rainforest.  During the walk we will visit places such as the Rio Celeste lagoon, an excellent photo opportunity; Los Teñideros, where two pristine brooks combine to create heavenly turquoise color that gives the river it's name. We will also encounter some "mud fumaroles" where mud heated by the volcano, springs to the surface,  or you can also take a warm soothing bath at the natural hot springs of Tenorio.

Take a dip in these refreshing streams so magically colored by nature!   But you will also enjoy varied flora and fauna, where amid the diversity of plantlife, monkeys, ocelotes, birds and many other wonders of nature await you.
